The Orvis Letter — Subscription Terms

What you get
Every month you'll receive a physical letter from Orvis St. John, shipped from Hamburg, Germany. Each letter includes a personal note, an art postcard and stickers. Contents may vary slightly from month to month.

When it starts
Your subscription starts the month you sign up. If you sign up on the 24th of December, your first letter ships in December. There is no waiting period.

Billing
You are billed once per month on the date you signed up. Payment is processed automatically each month until you cancel.

Shipping
Letters ship once per month from Hamburg, Germany. Delivery times vary depending on your location — international shipments typically take 1–3 weeks, but can take longer depending on local postal services and customs.

If your letter has not arrived within 6 weeks after the end of the shipping month, please get in touch and I'll look into it for you.

Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. Cancellations received before the 1st of the month will not be charged for that month. Cancellations received after the 1st will take effect the following month — your letter for the current month will still ship.

There is no minimum commitment. Cancel whenever you want, no questions asked.

Address changes
If you move or need to update your delivery address, please let me know as soon as possible — ideally before the 1st of the month so your letter goes to the right place.

EU Consumer Rights
In accordance with EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from this subscription within 14 days of your first payment, provided your first letter has not yet been dispatched. Once the first letter has shipped, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that month's delivery.

Refunds for future unbilled months are always available upon cancellation.
